A skincare routine for reactive, rosacea prone skin using Roccoco Botanicals

Instructions

  1. Apply 1-2 pumps of Soothing Cleansing oil to dry skin, with dry hands. Massage well into the skin for 1-3 minutes.
  2. Remove thoroughly with a warm, soft, damp cloth.
  3. Spray several pumps of the Purifying Essence onto a 2x2 esthetic wipe, and wipe entire face.
  4. Apply up to 1 pump of Reactive Skin Serum to cleansed skin, spread well. This is a natural product and will have a golden-brown color.
  5. Apply a pin head sized amount of Jasmine or Pomegranate Eye Balm to the eye area; avoid getting close to the lash line.
  6. Apply a pea sized amount of Radiance Cream to the rest of the face.
  7. This is a good time to apply another lotion to the neck and chest. We really like LRT Cream for the added age defense benefits.
  8. Follow up with your favorite SPF.
  9. At night, repeat steps 1-5. Finish by applying a pea sized amount of Reactive Skin Cream Intense.
  10. 1-2x per month, use the Papaya Radiance Peel after cleansing. Remove after 5-10 minutes and continue from step 3.

Tips

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory disease of the sebaceous (oil) glands in the skin, characterized by redness, flushing, and sometimes papules. It needs to be diagnosed and addressed with your medical practitioner.

We know rosacea flares can be triggered by sunlight, heat, stress, alcohol and some foods.

Controlling that inflammation is the goal with this daily routine. It helps to maintain a healthy skin barrier, provide essential skin nutrients, reduce potentially pathogenic organisms in the skin, and repair some of the inflammatory damage.

As everyones skin is different, we strongly recommend a personalized consultation with our licensed estheticians. Make an online or in-person appointment here.
